endo is an inherently ableist and problematic label that spreads misinformation about complex dissociative disorders by very definition. if you use it, misinformed or not, you are still spreading such ableist misinformation. you are still being ableist. does this make you irredeemable? no. does this entail addressing, apologizing, and rectifying? absolutely.

I hate the amount of (pro) endos that make systemhood out to be an identity- my disorder is not an identity for you to use for "fun".
And while I don't deny they could feel the way they do, it's not the same thing as being a system. Feeling like multiple people is common in other disorders and spirituality but that doesn't make you a system- having bpd and feeling like multiple doesn't make you a system. Going through IFS doesn't make you a system. Not everything makes you a system.
My disorder is not something you can cosplay or something that is "fun". Why do they have to make it seem like it is.

Im never going to live a normal life regardless of the amount of “recovery” I do. Theres no such thing as “re”covery for people with C-PTSD, there’s no “before”, there’s nothing to revert back to. My only option for the rest of my life is to put back puzzle pieces and try to make a person that can function. endos rly talk about being a system like it’s a gender and it’s so telling in how they use words like inclusive and valid and call people who don’t include them bigoted. they talk like it’s an identity that someone has to “accept” of someone else. they treat it like being a singlet is some made up social construct and that being a system is raging against some evil society instead of the actual real scientific community knowing what it is and what causes it
it’s just kinda ridiculous
reminder that not everything is queer. disorders are not queer. paraphilias, hypersexuality, and systems are not queer identities. disorders are not just labels you can apply to yourself for fun.
