Where's My Coffee?

I repeat, Women can be predators too. And this is coming from another woman. Today, I had to go home before work even started because I couldn't stop crying. Why couldn't I stop crying? Because on my way to work, I was molested. In the women's only cart. By a woman. For three stations, she had her hands on my chest and I couldn't do anything. I couldn't move away because it was a cramped train, it was nearing morning rush hour. I couldn't react because I didn't know how to, couldn't really believe something like this was happening. For years, I've been told what to do if a man does this, does that. What do I do if it's a woman? Do I scream? Do I punch her? Doubts crept in too. My mind began to make excuses for her. 'It's a cramped train, and her hand coincidentally landed on my chest. No big deal.' I was torn between screaming and keeping quiet. Who'd believe me anyway? A woman molesting another woman? It was unfathomable, ridiculous, and downright funny ( I guess ). When it was my stop, I shoved my elbow into her face and ran out the station, my body and mind numb. I was running on autopilot. The next thing I knew, I was at work and my co-worker was staring at me worriedly. I broke down. I'm sharing this to remind you that being an asshole, being a horrible excuse of a human being isn't decided by gender. Being nasty and evil isn't reserved for men, the same way purity and innate goodness isn't reserved for women. An asshole is an asshole because s/he chose to be one.
