I’ve been doing some thinking and I believe it’s time I step away from Tumblr Roleplay (for now!), at least until I have finished university. I’m in my last five / six months of my studies, and they’re definitely my most vital. My feelings about being here, writing Zelda, writing in general, have waned a lot in the past month or so. There’s so much creative writing and creative juice that I’ve been having to put into university that it’s just too much for me rn.

I still love Zelda a lot, but I need a break. Whether I come back or not is still up in the air right now. And if I do, it’ll either be a total revamp of Zelda or it’ll be entirely new characters (although knowing me, if I did start writing other characters, it wouldn’t be long before Zelda popped her head in, as I have so many beautiful relationships built between her and other writers/characters whomst I still cherish with all my heart and being). 

Being here has just become less and less fun for me, and I’ve seen the change in effort I put in to writing these days and I don’t like it. I would rather give it (and my friends / writing partners) my all than half ass it. Thank you for sticking with / by me! Some of you since the very start! I appreciate and love you all but you are the ones I love and cherish the most. Thank you for your time and your efforts and your wonderful, wonderful characters; thank you to the very special few who have helped me through personal things too, you know who you are. And to the new friends that I’ve made (even if we have only spoken here and there), thank you too!

Zelda’s been on this hellsite for five years, five years. Fucking hell! The girl needs a rest. I need a rest. At least for now. I don’t think I could ever give her up completely.
