Personality/Backstory
Kieran has never wholly fit in anywhere. She got along with others, and even had a few friends. But in spite of this, she always seemed...awkward. Like she wasn't sure what she was doing there. It's not like she had anything better to be doing usually. And it got even worse when she would question why they were doing something. Curious by nature, she wanted to know the rationale and workings behind everything. Some people didn't mind, others were irritated by this needy waif. As she got older, the latter became more and more common to the point of people directly avoiding or ignoring her, and in one case, physically bullying her. She remembers that day well and grew quieter and more hesitant in asking questions after it.
As a result of all this, she can come off as somewhat detached and cold at first. Don't worry though! If you can convince her that you are not an idiot and take the time to answer her questions, you'll find she blooms into a chatty and knowledgeable (sometimes) young lady.
What not too many (read: maybe her roommate, Hae-Ju) people know is that prior to enrolling at Saint Eadwine, she was visiting the school's library and found a book of hexes and witchcraft which she uh...borrowed. She was going to be enrolling anyways and could return it then (she still hasn't). Anyways, the point is, she's been learning and practicing a few useful hexes. She has no real desire to hurt anyone. In fact, the first ones she learned were for defense. Sheâs at best a dabbler in the art though with no real training, as she wasnât exactly supposed to have this knowledge in the first place. It was in a library though so, fair game in her book.
Appearance
Sheâs of above average height at 5Ⲡ11âł/180 cm and is neither wholy curvy nor flat, but it leans towards the side of curvy. Her tawny hair belies her Gaelic heritage by the copper that shows when she stands with it exposed to sunlight. Which is uncommon as sheâs usually wearing a hooded cloak over her uniform, which she wears up when outside. She wears two silver ear cuffs on her right ear and a slim black band on her left index finger. Her eyes are hazel leaning towards brown.
