It was a sleepy night in the Curtis house. You hoped to crash there, barely able to keep your eyes open. You plopped down onto the couch, laying as comfortably as you could. The rest of the gang followed suit, sitting and laying on the other pieces of furniture.
It was an eventful time at the drive-in, with Tim Shepard sticking around us, and that boy knew how to tire just about anyone out. It was no wonder Dallas Winston and him got along well.
Pony and Johnny kicked it with Curly; Two-Bit joined later, after he was buzzed. Soda and Steve tried hitting on girls.
Darry was in his bed, sleeping. He didnât have time for movies, or fun, presumably.
You were about to fall asleep when Dallas sat on the couch you laid across and laid right next to you.
âDally! What are you doing?â You exasperatedly sighed, pushing your back as close as they could get to the cushions to fit the both of you. The couch wasnât made to fit a grown Dallas Winston and Y/N, but you were too unenergized to move.
You would have squirmed when Dallyâs fingers grazed against the skin of your waist where your shirt had risen up, but the skinny couch didnât allow it. Instead, your breath hitched.
âCalm down, babydoll. I donât bite,â Dally grinned, leaning his head up with his palm and staring down at you with a sickingly sweet gaze.
âI donât believe that.â
Dally laughed. âSmart broad,â he said, moving his head so that it laid in the crook of your neck. His lips were subconsciously pressing against your sensitive skin, but you werenât too convinced he didnât mean for it to happen.
âIâm just tryinâ to nap, Dal. Come on,â you mumbled.
âThen nap, baby,â he chuckled, placing a kiss on your neck. You clenched your jaw, only for it to relax a moment later when he kissed it a second time.
âStop,â you murmured, dozing off.
You heard footsteps trail away from you, figuring it was Soda retreating to his bed for the night. Dally must have heard it, too. He asked in a lower voice, âDo you really want me to stop?â
You would have rolled your eyes if you didnât like it, but you did. You didnât want to give Dally the satisfaction of knowing this, but you didnât want to risk him stopping.
âNuh-uh,â you hummed, opening your eyes. His face was significantly closer to yours than before, a cocky smile plastered on his mouth.
âY/N, youâre a sweetheart, but youâre not... innocent.â
You rolled your eyes. âGet off.â
He chortled quietly. âJoking, babe.â
Dally was nothing but confident, but had never been this touchy, despite flirting with you as much as he could get around to it.
You knew you didnât have much longer to be awake, as your eyes were begging to be shut.
You took his hand and held it in two of yours, using it as a pillow. Dallas opened one eye, rubbing his thumb across your smooth skin.
He made a smooching noise, to which you closed your eyes. No way, Dally. Not tonight.
Still, you made the mistake of opening your eyes and drinking in his gaze.
âPlease, doll?â He smirked, bringing his free hand up to caress your cheek.
Youâd never seen Dally so desperate to be touching someone, to be close to someone. A part was of you was glad that it was you.
You did what you told yourself you wouldnât, leaning in and capturing his lips. It was a warm kiss, sloppy and tired on account of the state of you both.
âGoodnight,â you said with your face in your pillow, pulling away from his intoxicating mouth. Dally kept his hand intertwined with yours.
âNight, Y/N. Donât leave me in the morning.â
This boy made no sense. You tried not to pay mind to his words, shrugging them off. âYeah, right. Iâll see you tomorrow.â
Another kiss, this time pressed to the back of your hand. âYou bettaâ, babe.â
