I got two asks about this a while ago and I didn't have an answer then and I still don't now tbh I have no idea!!! He's had them since my very first drawings of him and they just stuck and I'm so used to drawing him with pointy ears now that I feel like I'd be breaking the rules if I gave him normal guy ears. I think in universe pointy ears would be like a subtle give away that something that seems human isn't really...?? (like Vivace, their ears are also pointy, they're some kind of super angel or something) Or maybe since Simon is an astral projection and Keiko can decide how he wants to look he just decided to have pointy ears bc he thought they were cool (but that would sort of imply Simon can shapeshift and I don't know how I feel about that?? Technically he can to a minimum degree but not like that, IDK LOL) I think I wrote a character plot hole, I don't know how to fix it. Simon.

THIS IS REAL!!!!! He absolutely has his own room with like a huge vanity and lots of little decorations, I imagine the manor having tons of little secret passageways and hidden rooms that only he (and the ghosts/angels/other things) knows about and it's so fun to play around with that idea. Like what if the manor itself is alive and spontaniously grows another story and nobody knows until someone notices that the exterior looks sliiiightly off or if the walls are sentient and decides who gets to go through the secret cliche bookshelf sliding open trope thing. This is fun

My original idea was that they just kind of poofed into existence looking hot but then I had idea like… what if they had their own hidden room in the manor where they have like… a vanity and a huge closet and stuff… and now that’s canon. Hidden Simon Base.
