Rain World: The Watcher fan art ~

The original Rain World is about being lost in a big, dangerous, even an incomprehensible world, while the Watcher feels like the world being lost in the incomprehensible you. And in my interpretation, all the characters Watcher meets are their own parts in a way, like points of personal transformation, as by meeting them, Watcher becomes them.

Both Spinning Top and Prince are children just like Watcher, and both are lost in their own way. While Void Weaver feels like the only adult figure, the one who comes to fix the mess they all caused. Golden threads that sew up the wounds of a broken world, the light that drives rot away…

And like a healthy adult, they don't try to stop or punish Watcher, quiding and giving the tools Watcher needs to heal and transform: awareness and understanding.
