my preferred pronouns depend on the day or situation... but i use she/her and he/him separately, or sometimes interchangeably. currently i think i'm going by he/him right now...

being queer is a very mixed experience for me. romantically, i absolutely love that i am able to feel attraction towards the beauty of every gender (albeit, sometimes at different times), however, for sexual and gender orientations, it can make me quite frustrated. because i'm afab, my gender dysphoria can be insane when i'd rather be male, which makes it irritatingly hard to be alone with my thoughts. secondly, the only reason i'm aegosexual (asexual) is due to the fact that i am not amab. when i'm feeling more male, i have a tendency to fantasize (not going to say it explicitly, but you know what i mean) and have it immediately tamped down because i don't have an amab body. it can get really fucking annoying.

I'm demigirlflux(considering agender) sapphic(possibly berriromantic) asexual demiromantic nebularomantic.

I mainly use they/them/xey/xem/fae/faer/star/it pronouns, she/her is usually fine though but it depends on the day. Any other neos are also fine, just approve them with me first!

Generally my close circle is very supportive(have an aroace and enby aunt(dw they're okay with being called aunt) and a bi aunt)

However, being a young queer and figuring myself out is hard, in gender questioning right now. Gender dysphoria on my more androgynous/masculine feeling days sucks, so does being called she/her on days I'm not okay with it because I'm usually chill with it.

Being a young sex-repulsed/sex-neutral asexual and being told "You might grow out of it" or "You're too young to be labeling yourself!" even by my otherwise supportive family really sucks too. Like, I identify with and find comfort in the term asexual RIGHT NOW. I find a community with it RIGHT NOW. If it changes or I find a better term, YOU WILL KNOW. So let me JUST BE ASEXUAL RIGHT NOW, and figure the rest out in time.

To Evee: You are a fantastic moot and I love you very much(/platonic ofc), you are a great friend and not "less LGBTQ" for being cassgender and not experiencing pronoun preference or pronoun dysphoria <3

Some struggles we've had is the fact we feel like we can't tell our family about being asexual or genderfluid. Due to our fear of them not understanding.

Another thing that our sister has told us(she is very open with us) is that our mother and step father practically makes fun of us for being lesbian behind our back. Which Telamon would not be surprised if it was true.

Being literally anything related to the word gay SUCKS when you’re surrounded by homophobia. Like, ppl at my school think I’m weird (most don’t really care, thankfully and everyone mistakes me as a guy until they hear my voice) my family keeps saying I’m Christian and I don’t know it (I would rather join a cult /hj) and they keep telling me I don’t like girls becuase I’m just “confused.”

Then they’ll tie it back to the clothes I wear (mostly black and other darker colors, becuase I can’t wear neon, and I don’t like pink) or the music I listen to (nerdcore, or anything with identity depression, suicide, or vocaloid) when that’s not why I’m gay, it just makes me feel more seen.

My message to the others like me who struggle?

Prove them wrong. You are amazing, and you are VALID. No matter what they say about you, or how many insults they throw, you have to prove them wrong. If you give up, they’ll think they’re right. SO YOU HAVE TO COME BACK, AND GET BETTER, JUST TO SHOW THEM.

This community has been something that has allowed me to express myself and find my people. Living in a homophobic community of people is hard. Loving myself was hard for a long time. But finding out what I am and like has brought me joy and love for everyone out there.

Ive struggled with my family outside of my siblings and parents being homophobic. Hard-core. My grandparents are hard Trump supporters and heavily hard-core Christians with LOADS of homophobia.

I can't ever really come out to them if I want to feel safe or loved in their household, and sometimes I dont have a choice of being over there. Someday when im an adult though, maybe once I graduate, I'll go and come out to them and ignore all their hate.

I feel like my parents won't understand my genderfluiditity, or poly identity. Again, someday I'll tell them. Maybe my mom read my pinned post and knows, maybe not. But she's loved me through it all, even if some things they do are crazy, they're supportive of my identity.

For those of you struggling with an unloving community, family, or anything else, im here for you. Send your pains to my ask box, and I'll comfort and love you even if they never will. They dont deserve such wonderful people as you.

I am pansexual! I thought I was bisexual for a long time but I came to the realization when I started simping for Scythe from phighting and realized that I'd probably simp for her even if she was a guy or nonbinary or trans or whatever

In my religion, being gay is this whole terrible thing. There are dire consequences, it's a huge sin. Honestly I don't know how to feel about it... I can't help feeling what I feel, loving who I love, and while I still believe in my religion and that I will face consequences one day, I just try to be a good enough person so maybe I won't get sent to hell or something.

My parents are... well, they're pretty homophobic. If we see gays in movies, or irl, or books, my parents will make some sly comment about having no dignity and turn the other way. I once picked up a book at a library about two trans lovers and their story about how they overcame haters, and my mom got mad. My little brother's friend has gay parents and my mom never lets him go to their house. I get in trouble for just saying the word gay. I don't think I'll ever be able to come out to any of my family as pan or even just supportive of the community.

My friends. I love them so much, and I think they're supportive..? I'm not quite sure. I brought up some hypothetical questions and they seemed supportive, but they could also just be saying whatever and act completely different when it's real and not "what if?". I plan to tell them about my relationship with my girlfriend. They don't know yet, but I hope I can trust them enough to not tell anyone or hate me or ruin my life.

While it stings so much that my family may never accept me, my relationship with my girlfriend has brought me so much joy. I love staying up late calling her, I love lacing my hand with hers as we walk, I love the banter we share, I love her rants about Greek mythology and ranting to her about the games I play, I love making gifts for her and seeing the way her eyes light up when I bring it to school and show her, I love her laugh, I love rereading the poems she wrote me and the old texts we sent, I love listening to the playlist she made me, and I love staring at the picture I have of us in a Ferris wheel that I keep pinned to the wall next to my bed. I love her so much, and I'm so lucky that someone so amazing loves me.

To anyone reading this, you may feel hurt, and pain, but you should never give up the things you love just because of what society says and what the norms are. Don't be deterred by hatred and disgust, because it's so worth it when you find that person that you wanna spend the rest of your life with.

But enough morbid stuff. The things I LOVE abt being LGBTQ are much happier. I love my community (most of the time) bc they make me feel like I'm not some weird, gross abomination. They give me hope and make me feel all inspired. And, in regards to the previous post, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my girlfriend <333 She's the only person on this earth that I feel like gets me FULLY. Like, this might sound weird or cringey but I genuinely believe soulmates exist bc I don't think what we have can be summarized by human terms. She is the BEST thing to have ever happened to me, and I know that sometimes I might not show it or I might take things super slow and I know out of the 2 of us, I'm the one that is scared of being found out more, and that fear can make me a bad girlfriend. But I love her so much, she does so much for me and I will never in a billion years deserve her <3
