i just loooove the use of the movie scene playing in the background of when wille and simon first hold hands because the words are “we’re gonna get out of this” “this is about us now”. it’s an actual representation of the beginning of their relationship and how they are gonna possibly get out from under the stress of the monarchy in the future and giving up those responsibilities in order to be together. bc ultimately, they aren’t wrong for what they want. their feelings are so intense that after the whole tape is released, the backlash from society, his mother, and what everyone expects him to do, turns wille against those very things and leaves him only w the motivation to stay w the boy he loves most. i love the decision to put those specific lines during that scene bc they really are foreshadowing of what will be wilmon’s whole storyline

Exactly like obviously he's gonna think now she did it plus isn't she on a scholarship ?? honestly can't wait for season 2 so that we can finally know what's gonna happen AAHHHHHHH

one of my favorite parts about simon and wille’s relationship is how wille has to work up the courage to pursue simon but does it from afar by texting him/etc. but the moment they’re physically together he gets shy and simon steps in to make a move because he can tell wille is nervous. it’s just balanced and soft and real.
