His and Her's

An odyssey; this love of ours And our dreams which made us touch the stars And as long as you hold my hand; the way you always do I promise for all of my life only you I will pursue

I pray that heaven and earth will be shaken by our love I pray that we never lose sight of the one above He brought us together, only He can make us part You were given to me; you gave me a new start

I still love you the same way I did the first time; When you made me fall for you line after line Verse after verse your poem made me fall You were the one I’ve waited for after all. 

She is everything to me, the trees, the sun, the leaves, the flowers, the waves and the air I breathe

The way she lived her life a broken girl with a beautiful smile and although she was a mess inside She was strong and fearless as she stood by my side

I love her like how the stars love the moon Like how the birds sing, the bells ring, She was my claire de lune

Perfect to me in every way, the calm to my storm and the night to my day, the red to my rose and the love that made me grow She kisses me saying she’ll never let go Oh, how the days go with joy in my soul

Even as we grow old I’ll love her till the curtains close, ’til the last beat of my heart gives way The love I feel for her will never fade. I always tell her we’ll be okay, I know it’s going to get better everyday

I could never write like her even when I was alone because she was always the poet And I’ll forever be her poem

The way I held her hand, her thumb tucked in like a band. The way she bit my lips, the heat of her body made me loose my grip; my grip of reality, knowing as the hours passed by it was going to be an unforgettable night. The way she made me hold tight. I loved the thrill of every moment with her, because it made me want to conquer the world

It’s hard to believe; that I couldn’t see You were always there beside me Thought I was alone, with no one to hold But you were always there beside me

Lay here by my side she said, she was beautiful as she sat in her bed. I could remember every moment as it passed, her smell, her taste, and the way she made the night last. The way I wanted to stay there forever, never asking for more, she closed her eyes and kissed me; I’ve never felt this way before

Have you ever seen the sun rise from the east and sets on the west? or have you ever seen the moon form crescents instead of crests? If you’ve seen at least one of these events then you’ll know what I see when you hold my hands. The beauty of the sea in the night doesn’t compare to your soul because it shines so bright. Much brighter than all of these dreams because you are the world to me can’t you see?

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder they say, but what if your beauty can’t be defined that way What if your beauty exceeds what I see What if your beauty isn’t just the surface, what if it’s the deep of the sea What if I dive in and get lost in your perfection and what I love about you the most What if I don’t deserve what I find What if it gave you peace of mind All I can be sure of is that you were made for me The day I found you was always meant to be

Born in a world of a billion hearts The Lord guided you to my part My part of the world, where I was born and raised Where I was always lost and broken; yeah that was my place. but you found me floating in the sky, you took my hand and made me fly You taught me how to love; your heart was mine So take my hand baby, it’s a safe place The heart wants what it wants, and it stays.

I never had much in this world, And I don’t have much to offer I’m nothing but clay In the hands of a potter

I’ve no honor in my name or achievement I can boast The only thing I can say Is that I love you the most

You have been one of the only things in this life worth keeping The only reward, the only trophy The only girl I’ve been dreaming

We’ve been through thick And we’ve been through thin, We know everything about each other; We’ve found what’s deep within

I know your story; As your tears wrote the rhymes I saw you at your worst And helped you through the hardest times

We’ve laughed our hardest together And smiled through the pain we felt But we never gave up, did we? No matter how much our love made us melt.

I get lost looking at you; Staring into something full of life, You’re more than just a view Compared to the millions of stars or galaxies or planets, I’d rather discover you Those eyes, those lips, that hair If you could fit in my bag I’d take you anywhere; When I can bring water in the desert when I’m dying or a life vest in the sea when I’m drowning, I’d rather bring you That smile; that little smirk you do Whether it’s a Coldplay concert, a solar eclipse, or another landing on the moon, I’d rather see you You bring out the best in me; I hope I bring out the best in you And if I could relive this life and make a million other choices Know that I’d always choose you.

Hair as dark as the night sky Skin as white as snow Eyes as bright as the moonlight Everything I see in you glows

I love every moment you speak Can’t help but to look at your lips Something with the way they move That’s making my heart skip a beat

The times you held my hand Felt so safe and warm Wishing you’d never let go And take me into your arms

Everything’s a mess My mind’s a blur My heart’s stuck in a cage Slowly starting to burst

Trapped in my place With my demons pulling me back Been trying to escape But there’s no way to attack

Sleepless nights And restless days You showed up Everything started to change

You saw me at my best Been there at my worst Taught me how to be strong Making me feel like I’m your first

I showed you my soul Love how you did too Now we know everything about each other Like how the ocean matches with the sky’s blue

Listening to your favorite song While writing this poem Can’t stop thinking About the things I long

Everything I wish for You’re wishing it too Praying that someday We’ll be able to do

Talking everyday saying We’ll reach to space Floating along with the stars Never getting out of the place

I’d do anything for you To fly you with me to the moon Cause you’re my best friend Hoping it will be more soon

I’ll fix all these problems I promise everything will be okay Just hold on a bit longer Please don’t walk away

I know you’re waiting I’m telling you I am too Waiting for the right moment For me to speak the truth

Just give me some more time I promise we’ll have our chance Looking forward everyday Like saving the last dance
