(i kept forgetting to post this on here PLSSJHSJDSJJS) ANYWAYS some recent #Reflecting has made me realize that, despite being a big lover girl, i am also someone who has an anxious-avoidant attachment style,,,, this poem was an attempt to make better sense of, and to express, that realization. to be completely honest, i'm not entirely satisfied with it, but it also didn't feel right to have it collect dust in my drafts, so it's being let out into the wild!!!

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE<3333333 (and an extra special pride to all the sapphics who have never fully gotten over their first girl crush ever 🫡🫡) i originally wrote this poem over two years ago for a queer art zine that ended up not pushing through :")) since then, it's just kinda,,,,, stayed in my gdocs, but for this year's pride month, i decided that it deserves sunshine :3 hoping everyone has a wonderful month ahead !!! and may we keep fighting for a world where we no longer have to imagine loving someone in another life, and instead be able to live and love freely in this one < 3

also really, really wanted to write about persephone<33 i had a lot of fun researching for this piece—especially looking into persephone and pomegranates, her sacred fruit. their symbolism of duality—representing life and death, abundance and barrenness, restoration and loss—just felt really poignant and resonated with me a lot !
