Not only was this creature sentient, but apparently it had a family as well? The world certainly was a strange place ( though he still suspected this feline-like being was not from this world at all ). He was going to assume she really had been summoned here, which meant he'd stay on his guard against whatever Shinobi could've done so, should someone suddenly appear and attack him. He noted that this creature didn't seem... Very intimidating. If someone HAD summoned it, it was a pretty sorry excuse for an "attack". Sharp claws or not.

She circled him, studying him like she'd never seen anyone like him before. Kisame was very used to that sentiment. He had never seen anyone like himself either. For all he knew, he was the only one like himself in the whole world. Which was rather sad. He would've loved to have kin.

❝ A Pokèmon? ❞ Kisame repeated. He had never heard the word before. ❝ No, I don't believe I am. ❞ But the creature asked him - what are you? Kisame didn't have a problem ( well, not a big problem ) with not actually being HUMAN, but there was always a discomfort that came when people asked him what he was. Because he didn't know. He might be a Samebito ( shark-person ). A mythical creature that appeared in certain folk tales, but... The physical description didn't quite fit him. So in the end - he didn't know.

❝ I am something between a shark and a man. Not entirely a shark - but not quite human either. Are you saying there are... What did you call them? Pokèmon? That resemble me? ❞ She did say she'd never seen a HUMAN that looked like him - but? Had she seen a "Pokèmon" like him?

"Well, not exactly like you," Jack hums thoughtfully and swishes her tail. "But pretty close! Sharpedo don't have legs or even a tail, just fins! But their teeth are really sharp!" She once had a close call with a Sharpedo. She and Faolan had been antagonizing each other too closely to the nest of one when the Houndour pup had startled her and sent her leaping onto the muzzle of said sleeping shark. 

He did not like being rudely woken up by what he irritably called 'a bunch of noisy brats'. The big fella had almost chomped her tail clean if she hadn't reacted quick enough and fired a Thunderbolt to stun him. After the two of them got away safely, they vowed to never speak of the incident again, or her parents and Faolan's sister would kill them. 

The Pokemon is always sent scouting. Its' Teleport ability is of high standard, making it perfect for gathering data. To think, it ended up with an unexpected visitor. Normally it can move on from them without issue, but Beheeyem has clearly made a mistake, and they have a new guest.

"You're most likely from Kanto? I would like to visit that region..."

Alas, he's once again running into the difficulty of not being able to speak to Pokemon. Let's see... Meowth do have their uses, some of the more skilled ones are able to bring their trainers fortune with their findings. But Spinel was not in need for money. Hm. Still, it's rare to see one in Paldea; the location which Beheeyem teleported them to.

"You are far from home. Left in the streets like this, I can see you easily getting snatched up."

Beheeyem lowered itself to be on the same level as Jack.

"Behee..."

[ I was gathering information for my trainer. I did not want him to discover you, as he can be quite difficult. But it is too late. ]

[ I do not wish to see you come to any harm, so please be careful. ]

It could Teleport her back away from here if she was a risk, even if doing so would likely lead to punishment.

"-- In any case."

Spinel interrupts, did Beheeyem actually take an interest in this Meowth?

Jack needed a moment to process everything. Unease settles heavily in her stomach as the kitten realizes that she's gotten in way over her head this time. This wasn't one of her usual adventures where she's simply traveled a few miles away from home and could make it back before dark. She'd been teleported across multiple regions to a place she'd never even heard of until today. Her tail flicks nervously behind her as she looks to Beheeyem, nodding at their warning to be careful around its trainer.

“N-Nya nyanya!” ["Y-Yes! I’ll be extra careful!"] She'd assure them before focusing her attention on the human, ears flicking curiously at their words.  

The city of Levincia...  

Papa always said cities were dangerous. He wouldn’t even let her step foot into Fuchsia City due to the risk of being captured by humans. But now she was stuck in a random city far away from home. Part of her wanted to freak out and worry, but that small curious part of her—the same part that got her into this mess honestly, wanted to go explore. 

Maybe if she is friendly and follows after Beheeyem's human, he’ll send her home later? She'd have to ask them about that. For now, Jack carefully pads closer to the human and settles on her haunches in front of them with the friendliest smile she could muster.
