What the fuck was this guy going on about? What magical world did he come from, to believe there was actually equality in the world? His mood wasn't being made better, nor worse. If anything, Inuyasha was a bit dumbfounded. It felt like he was dealing with a great big idiot, even though he was definitely the bigger one of the two.
"'Cause happiness doesn't stay. That simple." He didn't need to elaborate to some stranger. Then he began walking away, though if he was followed, he wouldn't argue. No reason to. The guy wasn't doing anything wrong by being a total basket case.
Wouldn't understand it, but he wouldn't fight it unless given an actual reason to.
...Of course he was followed.
"Who the hell're you, anyway? I don't need t'be saved, y'know." His steps were a moderate pace. Not fast, nor slow. "But if y'need t'know my name, it's Inuyasha."
"So just because happiness is fleeting, you don't think one should feel it at all? What a bleak world you live in. I believe people should seek happiness, even if it won't last forever. It makes memories, happy memories to share with others. It gives life meaning. If you don't live to be happy-- why do you live?" Quinn asked as he trotted after Inuyasha as the half human started to leave.
"Ha? You think I'm sticking around cuz you need saving? You seem very capable of saving yourself. You got hurt-- and by means of someone else. And seeing as you aren't dead, it meant you fended off the attacker! I'm sticking around 'cuz I got a goal I need to achieve. Simple as that!" the clown explained to the dog demon and skipped at his side.
"My name is Quinn-- to answer your question of who I am. But your name is Inuyasha, huh? It's nice to meet you, my newest friend~!"
