The bug part of my user name isn't because I like bugs (I mean I do to an extent) it's actually because of my VW beetle. Its a 1974 super beetle and recently I got a 1973 parts beetle (it's nasty nasty).

The goal is to restore it, I saved up for it and know a pretty awesome person who's great with cars. It runs, it stops it just needs some TLC.

I spent today pressure washing the seats from the parts beetle (I'm talking mildew, mouse nest and who knows what else).

The thing about me is I would rather work and restore things than spend a bunch of money. If I can get it done myself cheaper, I will. I'm no stranger to restoring furniture either.

I'm not even sure why I half ass started doing this?

I wanted to try and find a positive in every day but that isn't going so well, and this photo is also from yesterday. I didn't do much today but I was able to kick myself out of a bad mood once I bought an energy drink (something I'd like to consume less of)

But this resulted in spiraling into cleaning like everyone would notice every small detail, even though no one's going to see what I cleaned.
