I haven't seen any of those shows and so that reference completely went over my head. But, middle aged people are stuck in their ways, so unfortunately you'll never please them. Dare I say, Batman and Robin was probably his worst project. But, I feel like it's one of those movies where it's so bad, that it circles right back and is a classic in on it's own.
