I'm feel sad they won't get their happy ending but Joe's interview made me feel less sad because they both grow up, they are not the same people they were when they traveled together. They have been through a lot and Gendry knows Arya will never be te lady of anyone, they love each other but they want different things, it makes me feel better because i didn't want to think about Gendry and Arya being miserable all their lives and the fact that Gendry understands Arya is something i wanted even though it hurts. Like "Girl from of the North Country" (song added at the S8 GOT playlist) he will always remember her and this is what i call bittersweet, they both helped each other and the fact that they wanted to spend their maybe last hours together will always be important. Arya will be remembered as the saviour of the seven kingdoms and my girl deserves nothing but peace. Knowing the ends of other ships, Gendrya is the most lucky one even though they don't end up together, because the love and caring (platonic or romantic) will always be there.
