This is my face 9 months on T. It's such a cool life that I get to live many different incarnations of myself. I feel like a rainbow snake constantly growing into new versions of myself and shedding what doesn't work. I sometimes worry people will judge me and this constant cycle of change that I'm in. When I reflect a little more, I realize you'd probably judge me harder if I hadn't changed a lick from the day I graduated high school. If your worried what people will think about you as you grow and evolve, look at those you know who are stuck in their tired old ways and refuse to feel vulnerability that comes change and evolution. One of the best decisions I ever made was to take a pottery class at the studio around the corner from my apartment. I didn't do it for a degree or for a job, I did it for me. When ever I'm caught up in being too busy or too stressed this always brings me back to center. I saw this beautiful winged creature fluttering around. I sent it love and asked it to come sit on my finger. I rested my hand on the ground and told it was safe to climb up. It made its way to my hand, slowly felt me out and tickled me with its feeler. Then it climbed aboard. It stayed with me long enough for me to take it all in, and get a video. I gave it thanks, then it flew away. Life really does get magical when you start believing. This morning I listened to a recording about getting in the receiving mode. Two months ago my life changed dramatically because of the teachings of Abraham Hicks. Today I got to meet and talk with them. I am grateful for it all! I was running late to work, and instead of stressing, I kept joyfully repeating in my mind "you're always in the right place at her right time." One block away from the studio we were passing through a busy intersection when we heard a loud squeal and crash and then the screams of a young girl. We stopped the car and ran to the scene. I braced myself and took a huge breath. It takes a huge level of vulnerability and strength to support someone who is screaming out in pain and fear. I felt my insecurity well up, I was afraid I was not qualified to help, but no one else was helping. I asked myself "what would I need to hear in this situation?" Rose and I both kneeled down around her. The most important thing you can do as a healer is influence expectation of healing, and even though we are not certified in energy work, I knew what she needed to hear. I said "we do energy work and can take away your pain, would you like us to help you?" She said yes. I held her hand and Rose put her hands over her head. I walked her through a series of questions that would help her focus on a positive outcome. In a matter of seconds she went from screaming and crying to calmly talking to us. The ambulance came and the paramedics took over. As I stepped back I saw two dimes on the street. I picked them up and said to myself "you are always in the right place at the right time," and I decided in that moment whenever I saw two dimes in the same place they would symbolize just that for me. I was recently in Rhode Island teaching some yoga workshops. On my last night there I was at a farm house with some really incredible individuals. We were sitting around the fire talking. I looked down at the table and there were two dimes. I shared my story with them about what the dimes represent for me, and felt the magic of it all. When my wife picked me up from the airport the next day she said "I have a surprise for you." It was this, flowers from the girl in the street and letter that said "The Universe puts us in the right place at the right time, and you and your friends were there for me when I was suffering." The power of belief is the best tool we have. I encourage you to use it wisely. (at The Little Volcano Yoga)

It is such an incredible feeling to be so supported and loved. It's been a great time to get away from North Carolina. I often like to process things on my own to come to my own truth with out any interference. My truth is that I'm grateful. I could focus on all the bad in the world, or I could focus on what is beyond amazing. What is amazing to me is that I traveled to a place I've never been and was welcomed with open arms. I taught two three hour workshops to lots of people I'd never met. I've made some wonderful new friends, been fed more times than I could count, and I am loving every minute. I sometimes wonder how I'll be received as a trans person who you can't quite box into a specific gender, and then I remember to just focus on what makes me shine. I make a commitment every day to not let fear hold me back from going after what is I want most. I am doing the work that lights me up. I am grateful for the opportunity to just be me, and to the other people in the world who are on the same path of doing the same. I am very hopeful that these laws will change soon, and am grateful to those who are inspired to do the work of creating change with in the government systems. It was a package of glitter, pre-stamped and addressed letters to the governor, and a toilet bowl cleaner. Sending the gov some glitter bombs when I get home.
