is anyone else terrified to admit what their gender is? im scared im gonna walk into a room and say im a transmasc girl and then get publically executed
The fact that being enby comes with its own set of rules/expectations for gender presentation sucks. If I wanted to have to dress/act/exist a certain way to have my gender be seen as valid I wouldnt have picked the label that means "nah I'm not doing that".
Nowadays it makes me uncomfortable to use they/them pronouns because everyone expects them to come with like a green-haired coffee shop barista with black nails and 30 peircings, and like. That's just a third gender. You've made a third gender on the binary and assigned it to the label that literally means "I don't sit on the binary".

it was so much fun! I went with two of my friends and we meet people that one of my friends knew (@auth0r-unknown) so we spent our time at the parade with them!
we got an amazing spot to see everything and everyone, it was absolutely wonderful.
other than my pride cape blowing off of me and almost landing in the river (curse the wind😭)

I personally dont like the idea of 'coming out'
Yes, its good to let others know what you feel like, and no, im not saying to hide yourself
I mean, if you learned that you were smart, would you go telling everyone 'hey guys, guess what, Im smart!'
I personally wouldn't. Its a trait. So what if Im smart, that's just more about myself. Ill openly talk about it in conversations, and I might make small remarks about it, but im not gonna be like 'Hey mom, im smart'
Of course, its different if you learn you go by different pronouns, because you need to tell them so they dont call you the wrong thing
But I just want a world where we dont have to 'come out', where being queer and nonhuman, and anything like that isnt odd, or hated. Where it'll just be a trait, and not a huge deal or a fight.
Everyone deserves sunshine. And I hope that one day, there will be a world where everyone is born with it and can keep it forever.
