Made a small publication for uni featuring Australian female musicians with a focus on those writing and producing as well as having killer vocals. I decided I had to make the perfect playlist to go with it and also put together the cover art for soundcloud. I will eventually upload pictures of the publication :p.

Caught Elizabeth Rose at the NGV late last year at the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition and she was amazing!! Loved her outfit as well so I couldn't resist painting it.

Miscellaneous Mixtape 1 Created a playlist on my ipod that I was really enjoying so I thought I'd share it on soundcloud and make an album artwork for it. Really happy with how my vector cassette tape turned out! Might try and make these miscellaneous mixtapes a regular occurrence. Made a necklace inspired by my Beci Orpin "Make & Do" book. I was just flicking through it before bed and realised I had the same bakers thread she used to make necklaces in her tutorial. Even though it was like 10:30pm got out all my random beads, tipped them onto the floor of my bedroom and started stringing them together. I wore it on my birthday with my new dress from top shop a couple of weeks ago.

At the end of year 12, my friends Caitlin and Gulizar started having get togethers to make cool stuff, and  a year later we are still going. We call it craft week, because originally we were going to do a week of craft but we never really ended up doing that, and have only been able to do a few days at a time. I think one day we will maybe turn it into a market stall or something but atm we are mostly making stuff for ourselves (with some presents for friends/family thrown in). Today was modifying shoes, although Gulizar used today to catch up on some presents she is making (they are very cool and Bee and PuppyCat related). Sheena( my sister) also joined us as she is on holidays and like me wanted to make platforms :). Caitlin is making wings to attach to shoes, which are going pretty well  I think :)

Started turning these ten dollar sandals into platforms using cheap thongs (flip flops) today :D. Hopefully this works out, don't really know what I'm doing. Glueing the platforms in separate halves because i think the thongs/flip flop glued to the sandals needs to be glued really firmly so we didn't want to glue them all at once. Making them with my sister as a part of a craft group thing I have with my friends, I'll explain in the next post with photos of my friends things, and my sisters shoes.

Basically if you x-rayed my skull you would probably find a sleepy cat in place of a brain :P

In class we have to design a logo for a city and my friend is doing Monte Carlos, and all it did was remind me of bikkies so I bought some on the way home haha 

Another assignment was to document interesting signage, and I quite liked this photo I took in the Royal Arcade, right near my favourite hot chocolate place, Chokolait. Seriously so good, made with quality melted chocolate but it isn't too rich or sickly! 

For uni I had to do a type based photography assignment which featured a word ending in "ism". I choose narcissism and went for a more cosmetic approach. Thanks to my big sis Sheena for being my lovely hand model (I'm jealous she got nice hands and I got stubby, small, child hands), painting her nails for me and holding signs. I was a serious pain because it took forever to get the mirror and the sign in the right position. I also used a lighting kit for the second photo which was cool but also difficult because I could not get it to the right setting so I had to brighten it a bit on Photoshop.
