Richie is teaching Eddie easy meals but is bad at it

“Ok instead of medium heat just turn it off and let it simmer.”

…but just as eddie is about to go search, richie reaches out and grabs his hand. eddie looks back to him, confused, and asks what’s up. richie looks nervous, and eddie can’t tell why. richie then stands up from the rock he was sitting on and pulls his glasses out from his pocket. “i just needed a distraction,” richie says.

“for what?” eddie asks.

richie seems to hesitate, taking a breath before taking a step closer. “so i could do this,” he says, as he pulls eddie into a kiss.

Eddie with those baby cow brow eyes BLUE EYES??? I was curious how this looked based on this post … Honestly? Doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would?

Eddie’s last night in Derry, his rushed goodbye resonating on Richie’s lips for years to come.

but after reading the book heartless by marissa meyer it made me think of a new one that i can’t believe i hadn’t though of yet!!!

prince eddie and jester richie!!!! where eddie is the young prince preparing to be married off and become king, and in recent years he’s just become so fed up with his life. when he was a kid, he couldn’t wait for the day he became king. but now, at 18 years old and his arranged wedding set for only a few months away, he wished there was a way he could just get out of it all.

and then, the royal staff hire a new jester. the queen had their last one executed after he made a joke about her that she didn’t particularly enjoy, and after word got around about the queen’s strict measures, the castle remained jester-less for a while.

until one day, eddie and the queen are at long last, presented with the replacement: the new jester named richie.

richie is unlike anyone eddie has seen before. his jokes and performances actually make eddie laugh, and he brings a sort of liveliness to the castle that eddie has never seen before. he also happens to be around the same age as eddie, and the prince finds himself a friend for the first time in his whole life.

but most of all, the more time that eddie spends with richie… the more he realizes he doesn’t want to get married off to the princess of the neighbouring kingdom. because richie makes him feel a way he’s never felt before, when richie sends him a smile from across the room, when richie cheers him up after a bad day, when richie breaks all rules and sneaks into eddie’s bedroom at night to see him.

like they have been married for 10 years, but in order to plan a date night richie will buy eddie flowers and go up to him and be like “i have feelings for you… would you like to go out with me sometime?” and later eddie still gets as flustered and blushy as he did when richie asked him out on their very first date. 

or sometimes richie will make a visit to eddie’s office and they will flirt and richie will pull out the pickup lines like “hey you come here often?” and ask him what time he’s done work and stuff and will slip eddie a piece of paper with his phone number on it and tell eds to call him sometime. eddie will say things like “we should get coffee sometime, or maybe i could take you out for a drink?”

 and his coworkers overhear and they’re like “omg isn’t eddie married???? what is he doing flirting with that guy like that??????” and then another employee just pipes up like “that guy is his husband. they’re always like this.” (the other employee is stanley, who has been watching them act like this for years.)
