🎃 ; BUNNY as MS. BELLUM, PPG
"You are so devious." Tinsley told her cousin with a bright grin, as that was exactly how she loved her family members. But she supposed that being surrounded by good influences such as her twin siblings had caused her turn a new leaf, of sort. "Ugh, how I miss it." She whispered, playfully. "Oh, you know that that's one of the fundamentals that comes with being a member of this family. Designer is great, but what's even better than that? Designer that fits you like a glove." Tinsley said, bringing her hands to her hips as she showed off just how well the Cavalli gown fit her. "Let's see what that could mean? I don't know, perhaps, let's leave the working the floor to the younger members of our family and I don't know, enjoy the free champagne and great music, for once?"
"Honestly I'm starting to think that the peaceful life just isn't for me," she chuckled. Of course she didn't mean it, she'd been through enough drama to last her a lifetime, but every now and again that little devil on her shoulder started to get twitchy for old time's sake. "Maybe I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop," she considered, since their grandmother seemed to have backed off since the last time they'd had a run in which was downright unheard of in the Chadwell kingdom. "Speaking of the young ones, Adeline seems to be holding her own tonight..."

"Perhaps I should put out a post that whoever dumps a flute of champagne on her gets to become my new protege?" Tinsley teased, as that would have certainly been something she'd have done a couple of years ago. But now, it just appeared just a tad bit childish. Sure, she wasn't exactly happy to be in the same ensemble as someone else... but perhaps age made it so that it didn't really affect her. "Or you know what? We could simply allow Rosewood to decide who wore it best..." She let her cousin know, before pointing at herself. Because whilst Tinsley was older, she was still very much in the know that she was forever going to be one of the most fashion forward people in this town. "and enjoy yourselves for a night?"
"For old times' sake?" Bunny laughed, though it did shine a light on the fact that Tinsley truly had grown out of the petty ways of her childhood. There was no way she personally would have let it slide, though she'd never claimed to have any moral high ground. It was brief thoughts like that that reminded her she really was her grandmother's granddaughter even if they weren't related by blood. "Honestly if anyone here needs to be embarrassed it's not you, so... At least you understand good tailoring. She's sagging in all the wrong places, which leads me to think it's borrowed perhaps without permission." With one last sneer in Cinderella's direction, Bunny returned her focus to her cousin and laughed. "Enjoy myself? What does that mean?"
"I think, Bunny. I think so." Tinsley said with a sigh, shaking her head. "Can you believe?" Whilst throwing cups of yogurt on your peers was deemed acceptable at 17, it was most definitely frowned upon in your late twenties. "Do you think she might also have a vintage designer evening gown in there?" She asked her cousin with a smile.
"Surely you know someone desperate enough for your favour that can trip and splash some champagne..." Bunny continued, smirking by that point because maybe she was just entertaining that little devil in the back of her head. "I think she'd have a rude comment and possibly even try to convince you to cut her brakes so... perhaps we sort this out before she notices."
"That little bitch," Tinsley whispered as she happened to have found herself in a position that she'd never thought she would. Someone arrived to that evening's fundraiser in the same red Roberto Cavalli dress as she. "I mean, love her taste in fashion but how did this happen? This is vintage Cavalli. Straight out of my mother's archives."
"Have we aged out of throwing yoghurt to express ourselves?" Bunny sneered down her nose as she watched the other girl swanning around in the same gown as her cousin. "Because I'm sure grandmother has some Activia in her purse we can borrow..."
"Sorry to bother you, but have you by chance seen a leather backpack around? Can't for the life of me find it, and it was just over there a moment ago." Blythe was halfway to a panic attack upon realizing her bag was missing. One of the few times she helped herself to one of her sister's bags and it had to go missing in action. Part of her feared for the wrath, but then she remembered the contents and sibling disappointment took a backseat. But even then, she didn't show it, instead a smile was forced on her face.
"Everything okay?" Bunny wasn't at the pool party with Blythe, but she'd seen her sister talking to some interesting candidates and had somehow found herself in her orbit. Not that she was trying to suggest she couldn't talk to certain people - that would be much too reminiscent of their grandmother - but she hardly thought it out of line for her to check in. "You're walking around like a teacher doing a head count on a field trip," she chuckled, offering her a glass of frosé with a little umbrella in it. "For you."

For everyone else Frosé Day was a day to sit back and relax, for Saskia it was like any other day on the clock. Her latest job was tailing some rich finance dude whose wife suspected him of having an affair. And with the country club wide open it would make getting her intel much easier. Maybe she shouldn't have been two frosé's into the job but she had to blend in somehow. "Gotcha." She muttered as she locked onto her target, following far enough so she wouldn't get clocked but didn't lose sight of him. She probably should have paid more attention to her surroundings but was too focused between tailing the guy and pulling her phone out that she failed to notice she was walking right into someone at the edge of the pool. "Hey. Watch it." She snapped in panic, grabbing onto them to keep herself from falling, not thinking if it would cause them to topple over with her or not.
Bunny hated crowds, hated being touched and jostled, so while Jupiter had wandered off to get a drink she was lingering along the side of the pool where she had some breathing room. That someone had knocked into her was enough of an affront, but to have it be insinuated that it was her fault as they toppled into the water? Oh, the entire pool was about to boil.
"Are you serious?!" she sputtered when she surfaced, though she was graceful as ever in the way she slicked her hair back and brushed the water from her face. It wasn't until she spotted Saskia doing the same nearby that she settled her tune somewhat. Not that she'd have considered her a friend, more a contact than anything, but she'd spent enough time with her to be familiar. "Someone pay you to do that?" she sneered, toeing the fine line between joking and serious because she knew damn well it could be true.
🌊THE MERMAID BALL 🌊
"You dick," Brooklyn screamed as she'd suddenly found herself doused with ice water. Everyone knew Memorial Day weekend was the unofficial kick off of the summer so that meant the family had come together for a nice day out on the Chadwell property. And what had been a nice moment of catching some rays had been interrupted by finding herself a part of a water balloon war against her cousins. "I am so getting you back." "Me?" Nico gasped in innocence, as if he weren't standing there with a bucket still in his hands. One thing to know about him was that he was competitive beyond belief and definitely did not believe in any of his cousins sitting on the sidelines. All for one, one for all, or whatever. Point was, no one was above being part of the games, not even Brooklyn and her perfectly coiffed hair. "Have I told you how lovely you look today, dearest cousin? Positively radiant..." he buttered her up, laughing because he knew there was no backing out now that he'd set her into revenge mode.

She knew Bunny would have a strong opinion one way or the other, which is why she asked in the first place. Her cousin decided to bite her tongue though. "Aw thank you," she cooed, bringing a flattered hand to her chest. "But now- tell me what you really think."
"I think it sounds like grandmother's taste," she said easily, not hesitating in the slightest once Adeline had given her the least bit of assurance that she could handle whatever she was actually thinking. "I'm happy to be proven wrong but I'm just saying... it's a fine line."
