Second Sentinel is so funny to me. Maybe it was just my playthrough, but Hornet had exactly 1 (one) conversation with this robot, saw them on the battlefield and locked eyes 2 (two) times for like half a second, and then got the invite to the duel.
So Hornet shows up, and she's generally at least pretending to be stoic, withheld. But she shows up the duel, sees Second Sentinel standing there, and her first response is a complete "I can't believe you'd do this to me I thought we were friends" speech.
THEY'VE SPOKEN ONCE, ABOUT NOTHING.
Literally the only other person Hornet ever calls her friend is Shakra, post-trails end. Hornet's list of admitted friends is 1) Shakra, 2) this robot she's spent less than 3 minutes total in the company of. No, she won't accept criticism.
And then after the duel, Hornet instantly forgives the Sentinel and her dialogue is basically "Actually, you've never done anything wrong in your life, and also since I won the duel we're friends now, right?"
At which point, Second Sentinel finally accepts being friends with her.
It's so funny and I love it so much. Hornet is normally so withdrawn and trying to pretend to be cool, but then the moment this robot shows up, she's obsessed. She loves this fucking robot on sight, and nothing is gonna stand in her way from befriending them, including the robot themselves. Absolutely incredible.
