When it comes to multiple characters that's something I would like to discuss over DMS, but it will be a price increase.
Btw all payments will be split in half. Half upfront and half after I finish the drawing. Multiple in progress pictures will be sent to make sure it's what you want!
Also keep in mind in the rare case I cannot finish your piece I will refund you for anything I didn't manage to complete. And if I get carried away and do more than paid for then it won't be an extra charge because that'll be all on me.

I am debating making Zuko a girl here simply bc I want Zuko x Yue Yuri. Thus the question mark beside the she/her, I still haven't made a solid decision on that yet tho.

This is for that one tiktok trend that's long dead by now. Different moots have also held me at gunpoint and are threatening me for this one. Let's hope I can actually get them done.
So, I've been working on a spirit Zuko au and I needed to write some of the basic lore down to figure out some of my thoughts so my brain spit out whatever this is.
Be warned: somewhat cringe and really rushed.

Zuko, a fire nation child born on the day of the winter solstice. He did not cry when born, he didn't even breathe until the palace physicians stepped in. His skin cold and blue without an inner flame, a disgrace to the Royal lineage.
Ursa, terrified for her child's safety, sought out the only thing she believed could save him. Accompanied by a fire sage she found it, the spirit of the sun: The Phoenix. Just like the sun it rose every day, died overnight, and was reborn at the next dawn.
The spirit could sense the infants weakness and took pity of Ursa, a desperate crying mother who didn't want to lose her firstborn son. With little time the Phoenix acted quickly and fused itself with the newborn.
The color immediately returned to the infant, wails loud and strong erupted from its small lungs. Then, in a flash markings spread across the babe's skin in the shape of flames. The tips of the small patch of hair on the infant's head turned a blazing orange.
(Insert a bunch of in-between stuff I haven't figured out yet)
Zuko sat curled on the balcony of his room, his rage blazing deep in his chest. He hated how his father constantly scolded him to reign in his flame, but encourage his sister.
He glanced at the mirror in his room, perfectly angled for him to see his reflection and the disgusting scar on his face, the one his father gave him as punishment for once accidentally burning his sister. He wanted to melt the mirror- he wanted to destroy his father.
Instead, he got to his feet and stormed across his room, digging through his wardrobe and grabbing the Phoenix pendant his mother gifted him before she disappeared. He slipped it around his neck before pulling on a robe.
He gathered a small bag of only his most important belongings, something easy to carry long distances.
He returned to his balcony and climbed the railing, looking out as the sun began to rise. He took a deep breath, then did something he had been wanting to for a long time. He threw the bag up in the air and launched himself off.
Flames surrounded his body then left, he emerged as his true form, the Phoenix. In one swift movement he grabbed the bag in his claws and beat his wings, soaring off into the sky and far far away from the palace that was nothing more than a glorified brid cage.
(Uhhh a couple more years later. Im still flushing out the in-between stuff)
Sokka: Guys look at this cool hawk I found!
Aang:.. Sokka, I'm 110% sure that's a spirit.
Sokka: what? That's nonsense! Look at it!
Katara: Sokka, it's twice the size of a hawk and it's on fire
Sokka: nah, it's feathers are just really shiny, see?
Aang: Sokka...
Sokka: c'mon! Hawky, you're not a spirit are you?
Zuko: head shake
Sokka: see!
Katara: ...
Aang: ...
Toph: don't worry Sokka, I believe you.
Suki: if you could see it you wouldn't.

Been working on a "Zuko Is the Avatar" Au and I have decided that it is incredibly important to the plot to make Ozai significantly more obsessive about his looks.
No but seriously how did I not think of this sooner?? They're perfect with each I don't care that they share like 4 minutes of screentime. They should kiss.
Off topic but halfway through drawing this a fatass spider crawled on my arm and scared the hell out of me. That didn't stop me from drawing though. The only thing that will stop me from drawing gay old men is myself.
Okay, I'm doing another rewatch of atla and I'm almost done with Season 1, but something I've realized is that they have a tendency to draw firebenders with sharper teeth (not always, I think it depends on the animator) especially when they're angrier and I thought that was neat.
Some shots are more subtle than others but you can still tell it's there.
Obviously there's more instances of this, these are just what few screenshots I got (most prominently seen in the episode where Zhao and Zuko have their first agni kai, I forgot the name of the ep)
As I keep watching I'll keep an eye out for more :D
Adding to this-
I also noticed that the water tribe is shown with sharper teeth, although less than the fire nation and it's more subtle.
I haven't got to see a lot about the Earth benders so far so I don't have a say for them yet.
Lastly Is Aang, by far I've seen him have the smoothest teeth, and when they do show his canine teeth they're very rounded and subtle.
