    yeah! that certainly would be interesting if ka koubun’s parents were indeed living happily off somewhere in the Kou Empire. But then again who knows? Maybe his parents died of starvation or something cause Ka Koubun did grow up in a poor village in the north providence of Kou and had to work hard to survive. That or maybe they were the ones that pushed Ka Koubun to study to become a government official so that they could live a better life. I would love to do a head cannon about his parents someday on my Koubun blog  tho cause like you said parents in magi is usually most likely dead and ohtaka dont give much backstory on characters like Ka Koubun which is a shame cause he is a very likable character in my eyes and played a huge role in Kougyokyu’s life so it would’ve been nice to learn more about his childhood and how he came to be how he is today. o u o and I have an idea on who you are dear, but i know not your name or  blog. I do believe you did a ooc ask on my ka koubun blog mentioning his parents and I went on talking about him a lot as an answer lol sorry this is so late… i been, busy…. lol
