Your hands were clasped over your ears, eyes screwed shut, everything was just too loud, and the rough texture of your button scraped against your skin making you squeal, you want to rip it off and cry. Whenever things like this happen you tend to hold your breath, you like the way it makes your fingers and toes all numb and tingly, Spot says you shouldnt do it, but you just cant help it.

"Y/n?" Spot was squatted next to you, he poked gently at your hand, trying not to scare you, "wanna go outside?," he motioned to the exit.

why did you think of that?

he slipped a hand across your back, anchoring it under your arm as he guided you up, your hands were still clamped around your ears, the room was spinning as you tripped over your feet.

"hey Spot, where are you goi- are they ok?" you didnt know who said that, it sounding like Hotshot or Racetrack... you couldnt tell really.

"yea, were just gonna take step outside, its just a bit loud n' here."

the cool night air kiss your face as you made it out side, Spots hands slipped around your wrist, he saw you eye to eye, that rarely happened, you sucked at eye contact, it simply scared you, but at this point it didnt matter you knew he loved you. he pulling your hands away from your face, de-tangling them from your hair, he rubbed the back of your hands with his thumbs, he brought one up to his face kissing the back of your hand, then the other.

"we can stay out here as long as youd like"

you nod, resting your face on his shoulder, his hands made their way to your hair, smoothing it down and twirling it in his fingers,

"what'd i say about holdin' your breath,"

you didnt even notice you were doing that.

"..sorry" you mumble.

"its ok... need somthin' to eat?"

you shook your head.

you just needed quiet.

he nodded, his nose twitched as he readjusted his news boy cap. God it was cold out here. you grab at his side shoving you face in his the crook of his neck, trying to absorb his body heat.

"you cold?" he raise a hand to your face, is hands were radiating as he rubbed your cheek, he rand a finger along your ear tracing the shape it.

"can we go back inside? its really cold out here" your voice came out as a hush whisper.

he nodded

"we can go to one of the boxes, its quieter up there," he patted your cheek lightly before guiding you to the entrance.

"i love you.." he nudged at your shoulder, keeping his voice low.
