Mspec lesbians/gays are not real! Their labels are inherently homophobic, lesbophobic, biphobic and transmisogynistic.Β
Don't call me the Q slur. If you choose to reclaim the Q slur for yourself, thatβs your prerogative. Just acknowledge that not everyone in the community does. As such, I do not agree with it being used as a communal term.
The saying ofΒ βsexuality is fluidβ is not necessarily always true. It can be for some people and rigid for others. But thatβs about it. Pushing this on gays and lesbians is just straight up homophobia.
Strictly aroace people (especially cis aroaces) and cishet aces/aros cannot be oppressed by LGBTQ non-aspecs.
Elaborating on the former, allonormativity and amatonormativity are aspects of cisheteronormativity. LGBTQ non-aspecs do NOT get lauded or accepted by society for having gay sex and being in gay relationships. Likening LGBTQ non-aspecs to cishet non-aspecs is disingenuous.

shoutout to slow growers, late bloomers, people whose plans got derailed by circumstances beyond their control or their own choices, people who never had a plan to begin with, people who have had to start over when theyre too old to feel like theyre supposed to be where they are, people who cant pretend theyre built for the environment theyre in, and everyone who's not living the life they thought they would. im proud of you for making it this far and i hope you keep going until youre happy β‘
Reminder that "transwoman" without the space is a transmisogynistic dogwhistle as it's used almost exclusively by hate groups like the "gender critical" movement.
The implication of removing the space is that being trans isn't just one way a woman can be, like being tall or being brunette, but that women who are trans require a whole other noun.
Trans women, tall women, brunette women. Leave the space in; trans is an adjective and trans women are women.
As it's getting closer to pride month: here's a friendly reminder that to many of us, "qu**r" is still a slur.
And just because we don't claim it for ourselves, doesn't mean we can't be in community with other LGBT people. It just means that we have a boundary, and it should be respected.
If you call yourself the Q-slur, then that's your right. I never once said you had to stop calling yourself that, and I never will.
The problem is when you refer to everyone by that term. A lot of us have trauma from being called that term and have been hate crimed wile being called the Q slur.
So when you use that slur as a collective, you're thereby alienating LGBT people with said trauma. The Q-slur as an umbrella term doesn't "unify", it alienates and further divides.
All in all, respect people's boundaries and LGBTQ is still a functional term (or even LGBTQ+)
the bisexuality was there. it didnt change anything. it didn't save anyone. there were just too many forces against it. but it still matters that the bisexuality was there

your twenties are not "late" to start hrt. that is a normal time to start hrt. your thirties are also a normal time to start hrt. your seventies are pretty late to start hrt, but not too late. like, statistically, that's at the end of the curve. but if you are not dead, it is not too late for hrt.

trans people don't need to hear your justifications for still enjoying harry potter in 2026 stop looking for forgiveness where you're not going to get it
Honestly, I genuinely think the phrase "bisexuality is broad and beautiful" should be more commonplace. Because every bisexual person's experience is different, and that should be celebrated!
