Mspec lesbians/gays are not real! Their labels are inherently homophobic, lesbophobic, biphobic and transmisogynistic.Â
Don't call me the Q slur. If you choose to reclaim the Q slur for yourself, thatâs your prerogative. Just acknowledge that not everyone in the community does. As such, I do not agree with it being used as a communal term.
The saying of âsexuality is fluidâ is not necessarily always true. It can be for some people and rigid for others. But thatâs about it. Pushing this on gays and lesbians is just straight up homophobia.
Strictly aroace people (especially cis aroaces) and cishet aces/aros cannot be oppressed by LGBTQ non-aspecs.
Elaborating on the former, allonormativity and amatonormativity are aspects of cisheteronormativity. LGBTQ non-aspecs do NOT get lauded or accepted by society for having gay sex and being in gay relationships. Likening LGBTQ non-aspecs to cishet non-aspecs is disingenuous.

your twenties are not "late" to start hrt. that is a normal time to start hrt. your thirties are also a normal time to start hrt. your seventies are pretty late to start hrt, but not too late. like, statistically, that's at the end of the curve. but if you are not dead, it is not too late for hrt.

trans people don't need to hear your justifications for still enjoying harry potter in 2026 stop looking for forgiveness where you're not going to get it
Honestly, I genuinely think the phrase "bisexuality is broad and beautiful" should be more commonplace. Because every bisexual person's experience is different, and that should be celebrated!

so called feminists: "actually women are naturally inferior at everything, including quiz game shows, beauty pageants, chess, and video games. we need a society that is segregated so that anyone who would ever have to potential to win against a woman is eliminated. this is actually far better than organizing sports into weight classes or different athletic/skill level based categories that ignore sex, like what wrestling and video/board game tournaments already do. I cannot accept the reality that men and women are the same species. this is actually how we truly protect women. by calling them weak pathetic losers who could never win against even the worst opponent, and preventing them from even playing at all."
actually conversion I had with one of these nerds:
me: "so you think men are better at literally everything, even things that do not require any physical ability whatsoever?"
terf: "yes! those should still be segregated by sex! males should not be playing against women ever. it's an unfair advantage"
me: "so my brother has an unfair advantage over me when playing fucking monopoly?"
terf: "yes. males are statistically better and managing finances, while women are irresponsible and lenient with spending money."
hey guys. I think the people who are literally unironicly saying "women are bad at money. this means they suck at board games" aren't actually feminists
No joke, that was the rethoric the Francoist regime in Spain used to justify women being legally underage regardless of age and unable to open bank accounts without their husbands or fathers permission. That law was effective until 1975.
the thing is even if agab was something that gave someone an advantage in sports (it's not) that'd be such a stupid argument because we dont treat anything else like that. you don't see people clamoring to ban tall people from playing basketball.

Me personally, I don't like the phrase "politically qu**r".
Especially when having a political stance that stands against white supremacy and the patriarchy is not unique to LGBT people.
Additionally, it subtly implies that people who don't want to be called qu**r either "aren't doing enough work" or don't stand against those systems of oppression deep down, which is alienating.
Take myself as an example, I don't call myself that term and yet I do my best to politically align against said systems of oppression. Therefore, I think it's better to just say "in community" when you mean all LGBT people with those political stances.
Imagine being the gays at a pride event in 2004 living their lives when someone grabs the microphone and announces to the room that Ronald Reagan was pronounced dead. Can you even imagine the hype, the celebration, the pure elation
Wikipedia isnt perfect but it explains the origins of the word and how reclaiming works i.e. you have to reclaim it for yourself.
Also, late 1980s! Thatâs recent history! Anyone who says its âlong been reclaimedâ is horribly misinformed, and also doesnt get what reclaiming means!
Iâm gonna be honest here: everything I find online about the word queer never denies that it originated as a slur. They all claim that it used to be a slur but has been âreclaimed,â which is where the debate comes in.
Anyone who denies queer originated as a slur literally has done absolutely no research into the term. Anyone who thinks an entire group of people can âreclaimâ something that is still actively used a slur doesnt understanding how reclaiming slurs works.
The fact that the original definition of queer is âstrange, oddâ should really make it obvious. But critical thinking has never been the internetâs strong suit.

Funny how when I like pride posts on mobile, I only get the progress pride flag animation around the like button, but on desktop, it's different pride flags, depending on the tags
I hate the "I hate labels" crowd. A "label" is just a descriptor. You use the word to quickly and efficiently describe what/who you are, rather than needing to tell an entire life story. If you want to be label-less/unknowable that's great, but don't be surprised when people don't immediately understand you. My labels are not a box they're a method of communication.
