8 : Favorite thing to do on rainy days?

READ!!! And don’t get me wrong, I love my Kindle more than anything, but nothing really compares to lighting some incense and curling up in the living room with one of my favorite books (I’ve got a pretty big collection, photo below!) and listening to the rain hit the roof until the sun goes down.

11 : How tall are you?

I’m exactly 5 feet (about 153 centimeters)–like Teddy, actually! Being this height is weird and awkward and makes it incredibly difficult to buy clothes, not to mention I get mistaken for being younger than my eighteen-year-old sister all the time…

19. If you could breed two animals together to defy the laws of nature, what new animal would you create?

Probably an elephant and a French bulldog, because wouldn’t that just be the cutest, dopiest, wrinkly thing you’ve ever seen??

16 : Have you ever had a valentine?

Of course! Although, I’ve been with the same person for ten years (as of December 12), so it feels a little like a cheat on this particular question. Interestingly, though, we’ve been apart for one reason or another for the past few years on actual Valentine’s Day, but we would always celebrate later.

27. What’s something you’ve done that you’re really proud of?

It may sound a bit sheltered, I guess, but living and working in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language is no easy feat, and I did that for three years, so that’s something?

34. Any piercings or tattoos?

I’ve got my ears pierced, and I have a tattoo on my right shoulder that says “Surrender to the Flow” (a quote from a Phish song, i.e. my favorite band!). I’m also planning to get a second tattoo very soon, like within the next month, of a mountain range near my family’s cabin in Colorado that we call The Castles because of its shape.

40. What was your favorite toy as a kid?

5 : If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

This is a tough and loaded question because I LOVE traveling and would do it constantly until my feet had touched every beautiful place on Earth if I had the cash…but alas! Right now, the top of my list would be Greece, Morocco, Italy, or Prague. 

15 : Describe your dream date

I really enjoy dates that inspire me creatively, because creativity invokes passion for me, so I love going to see films, going to the opera, art galleries, etc.

21. What is your current desktop picture?

Well, I guess I’m the most boring ever, because it’s just the standard picture of Earth from space that came automatically after my last OS update (currently running OSX Yosemite).

31. In scale from 1-5, how afraid of dark are you?

I’ll go with 3, because I do often fall asleep with the TV on, but it’s more about not liking the silence paired with darkness than just the darkness, and I definitely can’t sleep if there’s too much light.
