learning how to make a summer-appropriate cake

finding a cute bathing suit (and a reason to wear it)

getting up early to find solitude (grey light, the sun dipping into the cotton swirls of the bedsheets)

journaling more, talking less

getting into chess (click-clack of wood on wood in the dim dark of a summer afternoon)

on that note — brushing up my philosophy knowledge, getting back into logic.

doing something with my hands (drawing, crocheting, making jewellery — something to hold, a manifestation of the time that has passed.)

going to the cinema (warm velvet, strangers in the dark)

eating, laughing, talking with friends

cool afternoon showers

daring to write again, daring to share my writing again

….but also: filling a writing notebook like a sketchbook, unapologetically experimental, just for myself.
