Tiny beginnings can lead to massive changes. When anyone first starts working out, they will feel a bit lost and overwhelmed with the equipment and all the big guys there. Some people will be intimidated and not go back, some people won’t want to put any effort into working out, some people will be too ashamed of their bodies and those people won’t return to the gym, but you are different. You see all that equipment and you have a burning desire to learn about it. You write down the names of machines and look them up on YouTube or wherever. You see the big, muscular men, but instead of getting intimidated by their huge muscles, you get inspired to grow your muscles bigger and bigger, knowing that one day you’ll be the biggest guy in the gym! When you think about putting the effort into changing your body you don’t get discouraged by having to workout in addition to the work of your job, you know that like a job, you will get better and better until you get comfortable. You don’t let the man in the mirror bother you, because you know that overtime your reflection can change. Other people see guys that have been working hard for 10 years plus and they allow themselves to get discouraged, but your job is to be inspired. Talk to the big guys, they are usually pretty friendly. Know that you don’t have to have a Mr Olympia type body today or even this month, but if you do just a little bit and you keep returning to the gym to do a little bit more exercise each time, then you will build that effort up HUGE! A house is built brick by brick, so build yourself bit by bit. Then, one day when you are this huge guy, be inspiring to the small/new guys, remind them that you were in their shoes not long ago. Let the little guys feel your huge muscles and know what they are working towards!
