How am I to protect my wax built castles of love from the devouring heat of your fires?

Now she’s met Dimitri & the story (and her clothing) can get this show on the road! 

Even as a kid the I noticed the inconsistency with the blue dress… it is a ruffled monster in one scene & a very different dress in the actual dance lesson.

The “pilgrim” collar & sleeve-folds aren’t too far off in the OG design… instead things like a drop waist & knee-length hem would have made it more 1920s instead of 1950s. But because I have so much trouble with tube-silhouettes I kept her belt so that in an illustration it feels closer to the character. (And anya wore a belt with her yellow outfit too so… it’s consistency. ;)

Also her bow/pony-tail is a little higher & she’s still wearing her old boots.
