Okay so there are so many reasons why they could be calling the 2x2 scenario Slayhem, and all of them are really interesting

- they're actually dying in this one instead of the NWP keeping them alive

- the new scenario takes a different format than the usual killing game, maybe a battle royale?

- we play from the perspective of the mastermind knowingly throughout most if not all of the scenario

- this one may have the most deaths, potentially multiple cases with multiple victims instead of just chapter 3

- it's a choose your own and we can decide to kill somebody as Hajime if we want, with multiple potential final casts or endings depending on who/when we kill

- Genocide Jack is there. For reasons

You know it would be interesting for Korekiyo and Komaru to interact because like, Komaru can see ghosts, she's attuned to ghosts, I can imagine that conversation goes from "hmm potential sister friend?" to "WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE CAN SEE HER???" real fast and it would both be REALLY funny and potentially REALLY sad and I am down for that so hard

The nicknames that Toko and Genocide Jack give Komaru are both puns. Toko calls Komaru “Omaru”, which means potty. This is also why UDGs save points are potties. Genocide Jack calls Komaru “Dekomaru”, which is a combination of the Japanese word for forehead, Deko, and Komaru.

Idea:

Komaru invites Toko over for dinner. When the two enter, Komaru calls out that she’s home and her parents greet her. Her father is watching TV and her mother is preparing the food. When dinner is ready, they all sit down, Makoto joining from his room. They all eat and talk about their day while smiling and laughing. Toko occasionally gets some laughs herself from her dramatic storytelling. She doesn’t eat much but Komaru’s mother says her children told her she’s not a big eater, so she isn’t offended. Toko worries she made a fool of herself, but Komaru’s mom hugs her and her dad says she can come over any time. They all wish her a goodnight and Toko walks home.

When Toko enters her house, she doesn’t say anything. No one greets her. The TV is on but her mother has fallen asleep on the couch. Based on the amount of shoes at the front door, Toko figures her other mother is out late again. She checks the fridge and finds nothing but leftovers. She shuts it and decides to go to bed hungry. She takes off her glasses, gets in her pajamas, and lies down. She hugs herself and whispers a goodnight.

At some point in Hope’s Peak Academy Makoto and Kyoko would definitely talk about staying up to do work and he would joke that Kyoko needs a five hour energy and she’d be like “what. what is that” and then he’d explain “its like a concentrated shot of caffeine?? like multiple cups of coffee at once?” and she would just go “makoto. take me to where i can find those” and Makoto would have to spend the next week convincing her to stop drinking those in place of coffee
