In Super Mario Bros., if Mario enters an enemy's hitbox, the enemy cannot hurt Mario until he leaves the hitbox and re-enters it. Normally this is only possible directly after taking a hit, as entering the hitbox for the first time usually hurts Mario.

However, under very specific circumstances, it is possible to touch a stomped Koopa shell without kicking it, as seen in the footage. If Mario waits within the shell for the Koopa Troopa to wake up, he can walk alongside it without getting hurt for as long as he touches its hitbox. Leaving it and touching the Koopa Troopa again will hurt Mario, as expected.

I played Super Mario 64 earlier this morning, with mods that replaced all the music with C418 minecraft tracks, added weather and a day/night cycle. the experience managed to inspire me to take a proper stab at making music again. I spent about 3 hours on it. I still do not consider myself very good at this and I am also quite tired. apologies for the crackling
