Guys help I can feel the Skulduggery Pleasant phase rushing back. Because I was a kid when I first read it, I did NOT understand just how fucked up and codependent Val and Skul ACTUALLY are. Like Jesus Christ. Full grown ass 400 year old skeletal dead man, son of the embodiment of the apocalypse, casually one of the most powerful sorcerers ever, befriending and ruining the life of a 12 year old girl.
