Although I suppose godseeker herself could be considered something of a spoiler. She is only found very late in the game, perhaps obfuscating her was fully intentional

I often have a hard time continuing to enjoy things when those things get a huge influx of new fans. Primarily because all those new people end up getting in fights and causing divisions and conflicts that never existed before. So, I was braced to have a hard time when Project Hail Mary, a book I have loved for many years, finally got a movie.

HOWEVER, a fantastic innovation which I love very much that I have not seen before that has been made by the fandom is Book Character vs Movie Character. I really appreciate the move not to try and reconcile the two different versions and then allowing them to exist separately without conflict. I wish more groups would do this, it’s genuinely a great mechanism.
