Hello all.
We wanted to provide an update regarding our finance mod and the status of our donation.
After shipping was completed for our leftover sales, our communication with our finance mod Althatalia became more infrequent. In November, she confirmed that she would begin calculating the amount we would have available to donate (these calculations are a normal part of the wrap process for charity zines, and are required post-leftovers to account for any taxes or other misc fees that would affect our funds).
From November through early January, she provided occasional updates on her progress—most of which were apologies and explanations regarding the delays on her end. In mid-January, her area was affected by severe weather on a national scale and she stopped providing server updates. Her most recent contact was through privately messaging one of our mods on February 7th, 2026 to state that she was busy and would be in touch soon.
There have been no further replies since. Despite repeated attempts to re-establish contact with Althatalia through discord, socials, text messaging, email, or through other online friends of hers, we have been unable to get back in touch. At this point, we can only assume that she is intentionally withholding our remaining funds and will not be making our charity donation in the foreseeable future.
While all buyers and contributors have had their orders fulfilled, our estimates show there is around $1,950 USD in proceeds being withheld. On behalf of the remaining mod team, we wish to offer our apologies that we do not have better news to share. This is not how we wish to close out this project. While we will continue our efforts to reach Althatalia, we wanted to be transparent with the current situation.
