(gasp!) Breakdown!Â
(And a mostly-sleepy one! Bee climbs up to Breakdownâs optic level and sits next to him.) How you doinâ?
[Sleepily, Breakdown reaches to rub at the small chunk of Knock Outâs armor that he wore around his neck, still mumbling sleepily.] Ah mih Nah-kuh. Buh-bo?
[Slowly Breakdown shakes his head, clearing the sleepiness from his processor.] Uh, sorry âbout that. Mâa little stupid when I wake up.
Soâm I, itâs okay.Â
(Bee shyly offers his hand, to âhelpâ Breakdown up.) You want something to eat?
[He paused, thinking about it, as he took Bumblebeeâs hand.] I think Iâd like that.
[A pause.] But yeah, the weird not-a-language stuff is normal for me when I first wake up so⌠might have to get used to that. [Another pause.] Apparently âBuh-boâ is Bumblebee.
I kinda got it. Most people hit the âBeeâ instead of the âBumbleâ, but Buhbo works. Buhbobee.Â
(Buhbobee pulls on Breakdownâs hand to help him upright before darting off to get him a cube.)Â
Most people arenât me.
[He grins softly as heâs pulled upright, but his grin falters when Bumblebee leaves, optics coming to rest on the armor hanging around his neck. He thought heâd moved on, why was it bothering him again?]

There was no way around it - the mission had been a critical failure. Breakdown had been sent on a simple mission - scout an energon signature, and bring back whatever was located there. He hadnât counted, however, on finding the Wreckers present. It was a three against one battle, and not in Breakdownâs favor.
He had to inform Megatron. His spark was already pounding, a steady thumping sound filling the air as it beat against its damaged casing. His knees were weak, and all he wanted in that moment was to run as far away as he could, to never return to that wretched Nemesis again. In a matter of moments, he figured, running of any kind would be... problematic.
âUh, Sir? I, uh. Didnât retrieve the device. The Wreckers were there, Lord Megatron.â He hung his head, and closed his good optic, bracing for pain.
