[ ! ] — it seems that [ bradford thornbury ] has entered the scene ! he looks exactly like [ hugh grant ]. this [ 65-year-old ] is the [ emotional support dilf ] of [ comoedia corp]. it’s a small wonder since he is known for being [ jaunty + reliable ] and [ grumpy + taciturn ]. he has not been involved with the company.

Biography:

Many say Bradford Thornbury is the disappointing half of one of London's power couples. They wouldn't necessarily be wrong.

If one were to judge his life through the lens of business achievements one would come to the conclusion he is as close to failure as someone who has never really tried can be. Jobless all his life, maintaining hobbies over achievements on his shelves. Bradford has about as much business sense as an overly exited child left alone in a toy store. The only son of Cecil Thornbury, 6th Baron Feversham he was necessarily the heir of both his father's title and his lands in Helmsley, North Yorkshire. He always cared very little for it much to all his 6 older sisters dismay.

In school he cared for little else than rowing. Eton College Boat Club was legendary in and of itself and Bradford dedicated all he had to it. Winning the men's 18+ on his last year at Eton was just what he needed to continue. At 21 he wins silver at the 1980's Moscow Olympics.

Has a boy he was always quite the flirt. His naturally wide eyed look hidden behind thick frames accentuated his aloft nature making him quite popular with both women and men. He'd enjoy the games of it, never quite seriously considering anyone. Whispered words in dark rooms. Wide smiles and sweaty bodies. Coming of age in the late 70's was a experience Bradford took full advantage off. Things like relationships brought trouble he couldn't quite be bothered with. But Beatrice Alderidge was not the type of women you played games with, however. Even as a girl.

Beatrice Alderidge was always a force of nature and Bradford was taken into her storm in 1981 and has yet to escape it. Or try it. Any ideas his father had for a marriage to a proper family, an aristocratic family, went in one ear and out the other. A nouveau riche girl was enough make poor Cecil shake in his boots. And even if they were rich, did it count if you had to maintain a job? But Bradford was determined, he simply had to convince Beatrice now.

The years since their marriage have mellowed him out. He always disliked the fast paced world of modern work so when children and the taking care of them came into question he was quick to accept his role. He was perfectly happy prancing around the house ordering the nannies around. His hobbies expand and so do the shelves.

Compared to other man of both his social standing and age he was a much more involved father than most. He always insisted on making the children's birthday cakes and taking pictures on their first day. Still he had never quite mastered the art of speaking to his children. Specially about pesky things as emotions. Any moment of weakness from the kids was met with awkward nods and pats on their back. "Chin up lad", "Good going old boy". He's very proud of all of them but he might have never actually told them he loves them.

Other fun facts:

He was gifted a Border Collie named Biscuit by Brooke a few years ago, since Border Collie's get even higher titles than other dog breeds. He feels like he is betraying Brutus however and has yet to enroll Biscuit in a competition. (He will never be Brutus in Bradford's eyes)

He took up flower arranging sometime between b2 and b3 birth and has since made multiple arrangements weekly to give Beatrice.

His garden is extremely well organized. He has: A fruits and veg bio garden. A flower garden. The Poison garden. A french garden (with a maze) and an english cottage garden (with multiple bird baths).

he took up oil painting after b4 started school - his favorite subject to paint are landscapes with hunting dogs and birds.

He also has a collection of various mushrooms he grows around most of the grounds - the boys have been without his knowledge having him grow hallucinogenic mushrooms for years

While the family is very much a business and finance family he is a languages and humanities man. He collects first editions and other rare books specially in English, Latin, French and German.
