You know, I've seen many posts about how Lois and Clark treat Jonathan more harshly than Jordan, and how that isn't fair, but I also think y'all are not considering some things:

I mostly agree. Jon is my favorite character but I still like being objective overall. I still believe that Jordan has done shit and gets off easy because of his mental illnesses. I understand that a lot of times you need a lighter, simpler, emotional approach given his illnesses, (that’s totally fine) but you can still be light about it and still have him face some real consequences. And I specifically disagree with how Clarke and Lois acted on the fact that Jordan broke Jon’s hand like it was nothing. Also the fact that it was intended to go into a kid’s face and the damage would have been I can’t even image. They haven’t really been there for him emotionally (I understand how much time Jordan and their own problems take up, and that they are human), but still, he really feels like the forgotten child. Krypton is still part of Jon’s history and he knows nothing about it. They are twins, but it feels like he is the older brother that gets harsher reactions and punishments from their parents. Idk, it just seems like he has given up a lot (secure future in football, friends, stability) to make this family work, but nobody ever thought to think, “Hey, how’s he doing?” Having the golden child act up should give you a clear indicator something’s not right. Also, the fact that they are being so naive in not wanting Jon to know how to defend himself is kinda crazy, plus he doesn’t even have an EMT. Don’t give him a weapon but he should know about them and self defense given who his family is. Even after everything, he’s still the happiest whenever he’s brother accomplishes something. Also, the fact that when Clarke was imprisoned, Jon was worried sick and was so happy to see him back home safe only to have him yell at him, like I would have cried too. (Clarke’s reaction is completely justifiable, don’t get me wrong, but yeesh, couldn’t you wait a day to put your foot day.) Also, world’s greatest reporter and she couldn’t put two and two together than Jon was covering up for Candice? The only person outside his family that he is close to?
