The thing I like the most about Jane the Virgin is how theyâve handled Janeâs grief and the natural progression they took with both Michael and now Rafael. Janeâs relationship with Michael was absolutely beautiful and it was so wonderful to see a healthy relationship on tv. How they came back together was just fantastic. Then he died and I felt like Jane did and how she could never fully love again after that. But they way theyâve dealt with her grief and the natural progression sheâs taken with learning to love again. Michael is never far from her mind. Heâll always be with her. They havenât done the thing where the surviving partner just complete forgets about the other. And I appreciate that so much. And seeing how that has effected her choices because thatâs real life. Iâm so so happy they didnât throw Jane and Rafael together right after Michael died because she wouldnât have been ready for that relationship at that point. Just, I have a lot of feelings about this show and it has me crying and laughing every episode! I shipped Jafael from the beginning, however they way theyâve handled everything is absolutely perfect!!!!
