another thing i would have loved to see would have been sunjae being softly playful with sol; lightly teasing her — like in this scene. he 100% knew what he was doing; leaning in and then going for the remote instead! and later the next morning when he slyly pretended to be asleep while sol was fussing over him — it was so adorable!!

i am just so enamored by boys who aren't afraid to be vulnerable and open and large-hearted with their love — and sunjae exemplifies that so beautifully: the gentle sweetness of his character is conveyed with such profound sensitivity and depth by byeon wooseok.

i like to think sunjae would be the clingiest, most attentive boyfriend ever: constantly poking sol in the nose, tugging on the ends of her hair; and peppering her face with little kisses until her cheeks are bright red and she's totally flustered.

the bonus scene in the script-book of sunjae kissing sol's ankle while she was asleep literally had me in TEARS.

i know him: i know that boy would not take a single second of his time with sol for granted – what it took to truly be with her. i know he would cherish every minute, savor the sight of her smile, the soft curve of her cheek. i wouldn't be surprised if he spent the rest of his career as an idol donating to charities and organizations for differently-abled people; wanting to help individuals who were dealing with the issues sol once faced.

he'd send a silent prayer up to the universe every time he saw sol dance, or run, or even walk around: a wordless blessing bestowed on fate for letting sol move on her own two legs again. he'd never stop being grateful, never stop worshipping the fact that sol is healthy and all his.

Sunjae running to Sol in every timeline

Usually the umbrella trope is giving an umbrella or getting close enough to the other person that you can share, but both of them hold the umbrella over the other person, leaving themselves wet. It's an ultimate act of service, but it also leaves them unprotected.

And this is exactly what both Sol and Sun-jae when it comes to the other, Sol tries to protect Sun-jae at the expense of her safety and vice versa.
