Him being part of liberating Thurmond, specifiaclly ensuring that the reds weren't harmed in the process AND most importantly, he gets to see Ruby walk out on her own feet

He would've backed Chubs' speech during the confrence

Him and Liam FINALLY communicate and work out their sibiling issues

After life settles (to as normal as it can be) he'd probably have dinner at cate connor's every now and then, which leads to him and Vida developing a friendship of sorts that mostly consists of petty comments

Liam would invite everyone to visit NC at an given chance. Due to this Cole intercats with Zu a lot more and eventually starts spoiling her more than Lee does (something he wishes he could've done with Claire)

Cole usually sits outside whenever the gang vists as it can get a little too rowdy for him sometimes; Ruby will always slip out and sit with him for a bit

Ruby would introduce him to Lucas and together they'd advocate for all the reds, all of which helps Cole accept himself and truly believe that his powers don't make him a monster

Eventually, with time and effort, Cole would reconcile with Harry and would start to feel like he had a place in his own family instead of being on the sidelines

We could've gotten him and Lucas bonding over being reds, and cole finally coming to peace with himself. Knowing and believing that he wasn't a monster.

Him and Liam finally talking things out and repatching their relationship, and eventually, with time, cole stops feeling so out of place in his own family.

COLE AND RUBY my sweethearts I wish we got to see their friendship continue to grow and bloom. To see cole side with ruby through everything, partly to annoy Liam but mostly becuase that's his gem, the person who was always there for him (platonically).
