I've heard this mishandled by pastors in an attempt to guilt people to give. Give what God has purposed you to give. If you can't hear the voice of God concerning this, you are not close enough to him. Be mindful when he challenges you to sacrificially give, this means he has something greater in exchange. Another thing please STOP looking for the gift to come back in the same form. Ex. You sowed $100 seed, and the next week you spared from a job layoff.
