Looking at how Becca was tonight’s episode it really puts a perspective on things from last week. Her pink manicure that Mel most likely paid for. Her phone that Mel pays for. The Center that I’m sure Mel pays some amount of. Becca can go out and make friends and have fun because of MEL!! She is paying financially, emotionally and mentally.

Sophie was raised quietly, in secret, loved in whispers so quiet she doubted her hearing. Benedict loves loudly, in the open, with passion. Sophie found someone who reflects her love for the arts, who reflects her love and is willing to give her the loud, open love that she had been deprived of her entire life, the love she doubted she deserved and the love that he gave her unconditionally.

Al-Hashimi’s switch up on Langdon is completely logical given that she’s now recontextualized the Langdon/Santos beef. It’s likely not even about the stealing—it’s about the fact that she can now connect the dots that Langdon was a senior resident retaliating against an intern who reported him for a legitimate reason. Her understanding of how he handles power has completely shifted. Not to mention Langdon also spoke with deliberate vagueness when Al-Hashimi asked him DIRECTLY about the nature of the issue with Santos. Now that she knows the truth, his evasiveness in that prior exchange is probably more damning than the actual info. If anything, she might even take it as Langdon trying to manipulate HER (and lowk he was, just to protect himself).

One of my favorite itty bitty details from this season of Bridgerton is that Colin never reaches for a copy of Whistledown (except the fake one) because he’s already read them all before publication.
