This last 5 years has been nothing short of a wild ride. Let me tell you. Two nieces,a nephew, lots and lots of dogs. Y'all, so many dogs. Lol. I have gotten to be one of the lucky ones and I had a 5 year plan-ish. I had goals I wanted to meet for this milestone and I met them. I had top surgery in 2019 with amazing results, as everyone has seen, I'm sure. After top surgery I decided I wanted to go ahead and work on getting a hysterectomy while I could and while I was in a good place for some recovery time, which was well needed. Summer of 2021, got my hysterectomy and barely caught the window to get to have my partner stay with me at the hospital. Got lucky with that one. Lol. Now here I am, 5 years from my first stabby, happier than I've ever been. I managed to get everything I wanted in 5 years and then some. I'm happy, I'm healthy, I've got everything I could have ever dreamed of. I can finally say I've made it. It's Trans Awareness week, and I've been so busy I haven't been able to make a post. This week we remember the trans lives lost this year and through years past. This year we have lost 43 lives to murder and suicide.
