Seriously. Kids don’t have the bigotries adults do until adults teach them. It’s incredibly easy to explain being, say, trans to a kid. They get it and move on.

Jackson Galaxy is awesome. His story is is that he used to be a drug addict, and that while he was in the beginning of his recovery he saved a stray cat and nursed it back to life, and in return the cat essentially did the same for him, and ever since then, he’s taught himself everything there is to know about cats and their behavior. Cats saved his life, so he’s saving cats lives. He’s awesome.

I love this guy.

I did a project on adoption over purchase of pets ans included statistics of how many cats come in / out of shelters. The odds of mean tempered / feral cats leaving shelters are drastically lower than their odds of being euthanized. It’s saddening. This man helps prevent those numbers from growing

So I have two cats one is 14 years old and the other only 3 years old. The 14 year old was adopted from a shelter after he was abandoned by his owners and the 3 year old was found in our door step extremely malnourished. I don’t think I could imagine what would have happened of they were out into shelters ! Also Jackson is an amazing man and is great at his job and he shall be cherished forever !
