Astronaut prawn in space!! I’ve been drawing out this work in progress. It’s so goofy and fun that I don’t want it to be done. It’s like when I draw out finishing a videogame on purpose. I’ll miss you when you’re done, space shrimpies. Or I could make more of these weirdos and just quit being bummed about them getting finished.

Gift for a friend for her surprise baby shower. She loves giraffes and is doing a giraffe nursery theme. We went to the zoo recently and her eyes were lit up with joy and awe as she watched the giraffes, and I knew I had to paint her a surprise. I hope she likes it!

Anyway, I’m really excited!

I immediately pictured a penguin with meringue hair, standing in a pie dish. I then figured someone with such fine dessert hair would feel quite proud of it. And while penguins are oftener likened to looking like they’re wearing tuxedos, this one looked like it was wearing a yellow shrug/bolero thing to me. 🤷‍♀️

Taking a break from trying out some new Procreate brushes to knit. I got this multicolor merino wool when I lived in Japan and it’s just sat around for past few years, waiting. 😬
