IN DEFENSE OF STRANGER THINGS 2: THE UNSUNG SEASON

I made a 1h47m video essay/review and defense of my favorite season of Stranger Things... The criminally underrated Season 2. 🖤 Including a reappraisal and analysis of the infamous Episode 7 - The Lost Sister, which has always been one of my absolute favorites.

This video is nearly 6 years in the making. I worked incrediblyyy hard on it for many, many, many hours -- organizing my thoughts, writing the script, gathering footage/supporting evidence and sources, recording voiceover, filming my on screen commentary, and editing everything together. It was truly a passion project and I'm so proud to finally present the final product. I hope you enjoy it!

#the little mermaid #yeah #so... ummm...#i might be a little obsessed #i've seen it three times already #i feel like it's been so long since we've gotten a good YA romance movie like this!!!#especially a fantasy/period piece!!!!!#eric and ariel are sooo sweet #the soulmate-ness jumped out!#halle and jonah carry!#but disney is apparently refusing to promote the movie as a romance even though that's like... 75% of it!#it would do even better at the box office if more people knew about this.#it's not just a 'kids movie'#also there are a handful of titanic parallels lol #i'm such a sucker for anything remotely similar to titanic #ocean-related romance movies are my jam i guess #it's also a musical and i'm a musical theater kid at heart sooooo #go see it!!!!

Spent some more time editing during quarantine. Ended up doing yet another Stranger Things remix, which has apparently become my ~thing~ on my side channel lol. This time I mashed C418′s ST theme remix with Halsey’s “Graveyard” vocals, and of course - edited a video to go with it! I’m so proud of how this one turned out. It’s genuinely my favorite mashup so far.
