ok fuck buckle up mfs because i just connected something that many of you may have already done but it occurred to me when I was trying to sleep last night at 12.30am so here goes.
rise of the school for good and evil, and basically spoilers for the entire series below, read at your own risk
so you know how everyone was like "wait is rafal good now" "is rhian actually evil though" and everything because the fucking storian didn't specify in rise of sge???? well here's just a little something that is a very huge concept of sge. also this might raise a lot of queries and my thought is probably flawed but no matter just putting it put there.

now obviously everyone thought that it meant japeth marrying sophie when sophie had married rafal? and when japeth tricked excalibur like rhian had, and when the green knight succeeded terrorising the people to turn against the king of camelot, just as rhian and japeth did, and basically the reason they were always one step ahead because they knew what happened in the past, and when mistakes were repeated, they knew what to do. but.. what if soman decided to reuse the same concept in something else?
now we know that soman has hinted that rhian (the first) might be the evil twin, and rafal the good.
and i know that everyone thinks it's all too much. but.. remember how hard japeth tried to be good for his brother? obviously he knew he was the evil one, but he tried to be good. rhian (first) tried to be good as well, because his moral compass was rafal. and rafal was evil because he thought rhian (first) was good and so he was evil. except in rhian and japeth's case, they knew who was good and who was evil. still, japeth tried to keep his evil away, just as rhian (first). rhian (first) had no idea what was good or evil when rafal wasn't there, but when he was, he had to be good for him.
now what I'm trying to say here is,, if japeth killed rhian in the end, and pretended to be him, and trick basically the entirety of the endless woods, would it be that much of a stretch if rhian killed rafal as well? and tried to be him? and we know the endless woods can't tell one from the other, they've already been tricked enough.
NOW WAIT. everything old is new again.
one twin dead at the hands of the other twin, and pretending to be him.
one twin good, one twin evil.
evil twin mistaken as good twin.
