People (mostly men) don’t seem to understand and I know this is like talking to a wall. Coercion does not equal person agrees with choice. It happens everyday to EVERYONE. She was an intern, a nobody, no experience, her title doesn’t really matter what matters is that she was at the bottom. No power in the company, no money. Now I don’t know her situation but it doesn’t matter, what does matter is that Vince is a creep, used his money and position of power to prey on her by threatening her job. So many times men say “if something happens then say something!” But when we do, they say “you’re just money hungry!” “But you did it anyway and got your money! You just want more!” Like no something fucked happened and we’re saying something. Even if no meet happened with Brock, a few things. One, he’s married so even in the texts they (Vince on her behalf) were planning or talking about meeting up, so he was planning to cheat. Now if him a sable have that kind of relationship to be open not my business. But Brock’s not an idiot, he knows this is wrong, that this is a fellow employee that’s being pushed to do this. Not only that…Brock has a daughter…if this were his daughter bet he wouldn’t feel the same. Men don’t wanna talk about the what ifs or imagine women they know in that position because they’d be pissed. But it doesn’t affect them so they don’t care which is just scary. Bottom line is allegations true or not, from a business stand, not a good PR look. From a moral stand, terrible.
