@wicked-well had an idea for a Reed900 Witcher AU, with Gavin as a Witcher, and Nines as an Incubus that was cast out by his brethren. They created two images for this idea, one of them showing the initial meeting, and the other being a little spicy, so you'll have to click through

@alecthewreck took this idea and turned it into Crossing the Path, an explicit Reed900 story wherein the two meet, and after a combative start, feel the beginnings of sexual tension brewing between them. The two work together to get out of the Leshy populated forest they start in, and grow closer as learn more about each other.
